Reality Check

Reality Check (RC) is a new way of experiencing films that facilitates deeper understanding of others’ views. A civic educational tech product for high school and college educators that enhances film presentations, it launches in a beta version in the fall or winter of the 2019-2020 academic year.

RC’s participatory format was initially developed as a live event format during the engagement campaign for Follow the Leader. Successful events were hosted by venues such as The Paley Center for Media. RC’s development was initially supported through Kickstarter.

Currently, Reality Check (and Changeworx’s) founder Jonathan Goodman Levitt is a Tow-Knight Fellow at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY, for the development of RC. Please contact us with your feedback or suggestions, or to be added to our mailing list.
