Sustained Dialogue Institute: PULSE
Sustained Dialogue Institute enables leaders and people to relate to one another more “peacefully, justly, and productively.” Founded by Dr. Hal Saunders, an American diplomat instrumental in the Middle East peace process starting in the 1970s (such as the Camp David Accords), the organization aims to “transform differences into the strong relationships essential to effective decision-making, democratic governance, and peace.”
Sustained Dialogue Campus Network was formed as a project of SDI in 2003. This video produced by Changeworx for SDI highlights its retreat program “PULSE” — Perspective, Understanding, Leadership, Sustained, Exchange — that jumpstarts engagement with Sustained Dialogue among college student leaders.
